Repurposing Your Treasured Garments
Do you have a “closeted” fur coat or boxed-up wedding gown and don’t know what to do? Let me repurpose your fur coat, wedding gown, or favorite t-shirt collection, giving it new form and function.
Imagine your beloved clothing and cherished textiles crafted into exciting and personalized items you can use daily or during special events. From small pouches and luxurious blankets to seatbelt covers and cozy pillows, I will transform them into something exciting and unique that you can treasure for years.

What to expect from a repurposed finished project?
This is a creative, artistic project made with used materials. Garments often are not in a perfect state when they come to me. The original garment’s shape, condition, and age determine the outcome. Sizes and dimensions are approximate.
My job is to coax and morph one thing into another while managing and stabilizing the original garment. I pick the best features to highlight. This process is full of interpretation and using what is available. I do what is possible while honoring preferences. It’s an imprecise process full of problem-solving, creativity, and meaning. The result is something for you “to have and to hold,” something unique, made just for you.
