Maudy Paden, expert seamstress, offers alterations, repurposing sentimental clothing and made to order garments featuring fabrics from Pennie Fabrics. She offers a select sewing service with fittings at Pennie Fabrics or a convenient house call. Maudy is especially helpful to those who have upcoming deadlines or unique bodies and want personalized attention. She has a wide tailoring repertoire; wedding dressings, formalwear, suiting, professional clothing, off the rack and ready to wear.  Maudy is available to provide a personal, private fitting service or pickup and delivery at your home or office. Concierge house calls primarily happen Mondays or early morning / evening weekdays. There is a cost for the visit and alterations. Professionalism, good communication, and a high standard of quality as outlined by the Association of Sewing and Design Professionals are all protocols she follows. After 12 years of her own clothing alteration shop in Vermilion, Ohio and 30 years of sewing experience, Maudy brings her sewing expertise to Florida, servicing the greater Sarasota area: Lakewood Ranch, Fruitville, Siesta Key, Longboat Key, Osprey, South Sarasota, Gulf Gate, Nokomis, and Venice.

Maudy’s experience with garment alterations has inspired her repurposing and “made to order” designs.
